Small and light, the Snugpak Softie 3 Merlin Sleeping Bag is an ideal summer trekking bag when you want to be confident of staying dry and warm.

Designed for optimum comfort at temperatures down to 5ºC and extreme survival down to 0ºC, it packs down in the supplied compression sack to only 16cm x 16cm and weighs just 900g. 

Durable, water-repellent and breathable, the Paratex Light lining and Paratex Steelplate outer shell both offer excellent wicking properties to help draw away moisture from your body. These technically advanced fabrics are also windproof to further protect you from the elements.

The Softie 3 is filled with soft-touch Premier Softie synthetic fibres, which retain heat even if wet. Constructed in the popular mummy-style shape for improved warmth, the Snugfit Hood features a drawstring cord and fits in a similar way to a jacket hood to keep you cosy.

A full-length baffle along the anti-snag zip also helps to reduce draughts and heat loss. The bag is washable and has hanging tabs to make drying and airing easy.
